Defining Strength by Defying Doubt

“I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life’s a bitch. You’ve got to go out and kick ass.”

— Maya Angelou

We all look up to beautiful, strong, independent, driven women. But how do we become one ourselves? Are we there already? What does that mean for us in today’s day and age? Where does that leave us in love and relationships?

It’s easy to give in to feelings of self-doubt and back down from challenges. But that’s certainly not what being a strong woman is all about. This is a place where women can come to find inspiration, motivation and unity. I wanna touch on all the ways that make us so beautifully different, then in retrospect, maybe we all can see underneath our outer shells… we are all beautiful strong women, just trying to make it in a man’s world, and we aren’t all that different after all.

I find inspiration everywhere. I notice the big things people do and the little details that go unnoticed. I am a writer with a mission to show women just how fierce and beautiful they are.

Personally, I’ve never thought of myself as a particularly strong person but when I look back at my life up until now, I see a pattern of perseverance and determination. Along the way, I’ve read, heard, or watched, stories about incredible women. And now I’m ready to pay it forward and share my own story. Because life has taught me that what a woman is capable of is only for her to determine.
